10 April 2025 – The Beach Ferry will have a delayed opening on Friday, 11 April 2025. The Ferry lift and lift hardware will be repaired. Motors for the lift will be replaced, along with pulleys, and more. The Ferry will open at 1:00 pm on Friday, then return to normal season schedule (9:30 am to sunset daily).

A Trust member and 2 volunteers are working to install new benches at the new boardwalk. Our thanks to Gary Cole, Mike Campbell, and Rick Smith. The benches are being constructed out of leftover dock and boardwalk materials. There will be a total of 5 benches when completed. Our thanks to these dedicated volunteers working to make our beach experience more comfortable and accessible.
