7 February 2025 – We are getting closer to beginning Ferry Service! The low-water dock is completed except for the safety railing. Materials will be delivered soon and the rails will be added. We are still on target for an end of February opening. Stay tuned……

Recall that Hurricane Ian, in September of 2022, resulted in a 6 month closure. The damage from Milton was far more extensive and we are on track to open after about 4 months. We are hoping that the red tide occurring now in the Gulf of America will not impact operations after reopening as it did after the Ian repair.
