May 7, 2025 – The Captains want to remind everyone about the emergency beach evacuation procedures. The Captain will sound the airhorn on the beach in the event that bad weather, or some other emergency, requires the beach be evacuated and Ferry operations to cease. If you need a ride back to the Beach Ferry Dock House in the event of bad weather or some other incident that causes the Captain to cease Ferry operations, please be sure to stay within hearing distance. The Captain will make every effort to account for everyone on the beach before leaving, but he will leave when circumstances demand it.

Also, the Captains want to remind all to please press the button on the Ring doorbell located on the beach dock when waiting for a return ride. Unneeded trips increase the wear and tear on equipment. Pressing the button will ensure you are picked up. Thanks!
